Get to Know Me

I'm Courtney and I started Everything DOGGO back in 2018 but I have been training dogs since 2013! I shadowed a variety of training schools for many years whilst undertaking plenty of obedience qualifications along the way. I have continued to take many more with BCOCS & GODT. In addition, I have achieved my Level 4 Canine Behaviour at the end of 2021!

 

A little about me: Growing up, I have always had Basset Hounds and I still have one now. I got my first Australian Shepherd in 2020 and I fostered a working Golden Retriever for a few years whilst he underwent training and socialisation with myself and is now fully trained with the most perfect family. I have worked with a large variety of breeds from all over the UK, including Basset Hounds from Ireland and even America.

 

I have shown both my dogs at Crufts and competed in obedience competitions. I do scent training and mantrailing as a hobby and have enjoyed a bit of rally obedience and agility in the past. I have also volunteered my time with the Border Collie Trust back in 2014! 

I have helped many charities including: Dogs for Autism, Basset Hound charities, DD's dog rescue & Pet Welfare! 

 

Before dogs, I was a sports coach & dance teacher in primary and high schools, Level 3 qualified gym instructor & Level 2 gymnastics teacher. I then took to the Police for a few years as a Special Constable! Volunteering my time to the community until health took over.

 

I am fun, enthusiastic, full of wacky ideas and dog crazy!
